 Leicester and Manchester City meet at Wembley in the 2021/22 season curtain-raiser today as they compete for the Community Shield.


Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester stunned Chelsea to lifted the FA Cup last term, while Pep Guardiola’s Man City cantered to Premier League title glory.


Those triumphs earn both managers another crack at silverware on Saturday - and while the Shield may have little bearing on the upcoming season overall, it never hurts to get off to a winning start to build momentum.


Man City will be looking to defend their League title while also going one better in the Champions League afer losing last season’s final to Chelsea.

Bruno Fernandes, then scored spectacular free-kick as United ended the half-time in a region of 3-0.
